New Sculpture: Eyeurn, Canopic Jar (SOLD)

Eyeurn is out from the kiln and ready for the world! Eyeurn is a sealed canopic jar and comes with the standard Pandora's box warning: better left unopened.

Materials: Terra-cotta clay, under glaze

Finished: 2019

Fun fact: Pandora has a "box" due to a translation error; the gods actually handed her a jar.

Behind the scenes: Eyeurn got their name after my tiny dog Milton had both his eyes removed. I like how Eyeurn sounds like Iron when spoken aloud.

Eyeurn will be at the Palette and Chisel Spring Cleaning Sale on Saturday, April 27th from 11am - 1pm.

Eyeurn will be available in my Etsy shop on May 13th during the next shop update.
