New Sculptures: The Heartbreaker Hares (SOLD)
Shall I blame Alice's Adventures in Wonderland for my obsession with hares? Or are the bunnies that populate my Chicago neighbourhood to blame? I see these beasties becoming a series.
Materials: Terra-cotta clay, under glaze
Finished: 2019
Fun fact: Hares tend to display aggressive "boxing" abilities during mating season. This behaviour is where the phrase "mad as a March hare" originated.
