Shop Member Spotlight: Ginny Sweetpea
Ginny Sweetpea steals the spotlight this month. She may not be the oldest resident dog, but she's the one who's been with us the longest! Aaaand this has been a hard month for her, so she could use the extra love.
She's one of our blind pups (we have three fully blind dogs and one more who is deaf with visual impairments) and joined the Wink Club yesterday (which is what happens when a pup has to have one eye removed -- if they lose both, they belong to the Sockets Club like Mildly Milton).
Anyone who's met Ginny Sweetpea knows she's a complete love sponge and big on kisses. Kitties are her favourite people, but people-people come in a close second, and dog friends are always her pals.
She's so calm and collected that she helps us teach the whole pack, along with other dogs she meets, how to be chill. Actually she's even been calm and chill about this whole surgery thing, too, though little Milton has been extra attentive to her.
Ginny likes to help in our customer service department because she loves everyone. We're pretty sure she thinks she *is* the customer service department (and we're okay with that).
She's already recovering well from her surgery and will be fully healed within two weeks. And who knows, we may have to buy her a sparkly pirate hat once she's cone-free.
